Easy Bread Recipe

If you’re having trouble finding bread in the stores here is an easy bread recipe. I keep these items at all times self rising flour, sugar, salt, beer. I’m not a beer drinker but I keep it for baking bread. The bread will take on a slight hint of the beer, so use what you like. I prefer Shiner Bock. You can’t beat this hot out of the oven with just butter on it.

3 cups self rising flour – take out 3 tablespoons

1/2 cup sugar

Pinch of salt

1 beer – any kind

mix altogether – if too wet add the tablespoons of flour

Spray cooking oil or grease loaf pan – I prefer butter instead of oil

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes

Melt one stick of butter – pour on top and bake 15 more minutes
